Excellent DJ controller. It works right out of the box with virtually any DJ software on the market. My main concern before purchasing the device was its compatibility with DAWs, mainly Ableton. I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered that it maps perfectly in Ableton, even better than other DAW oriented controllers I have. The build is incredibly sturdy and the knobs, while not up to par with ones found on traditional DJ mixers, have a very good "feel" to them. Volume and pitch faders are properly rigid, with the pitch fader clicking at neutral (a very good thing). The cross fader is very loose, which can either be a benefit or detriment based on personal preferences and playing styles. The job wheels are one of the best I used, allowed both pinpoint track location selection and superfast scrolling when the need arises. My favorite element of the controller are the 2 effects knobs. While they don't appear all that useful at first,you will find that they are perfect instruments to control effects, especially in live settings and more advanced DJing software packages. Overall, it is a well built product that it is highly intuitive to the needs of both the beginner and veteran DJ.

I bought this product after may different reviews on different sites. I originally wanted the Hercules RMX but decided to go this route and an Audio 2 DJ sound card, could not have been more pleased. Works well with Virtual DJ and Deck a Dance. Responsive controls and built very well, no cheap plastic feeling. Only issues I have are the jog wheels are a little tight and don't free wheel that easy.

Overal I am extremely happy with the unit and would buy again.
