The Trident Pro2-2 from ATN is a rugged night vision riflescope that provides excellent observation, target acquisition, and aiming capabilities. With its high-quality optics and high-performance 2nd generation intensifier tube, the Trident Pro2-2 represents an excellent choice for a night vision weapon sight.
This Trident features comes configured with a 5.0x attachment lens. The scope can be also be used at its native magnification of 2.5x by unscrewing the afocal accessory lens.
The scope's integral mount is compatible with most Weaver and Picatinny systems. The mount can be removed and reversed to provide spacing flexibility.
The Trident's non-reflective matte black exterior is adorned with 3 Picatinny accessory rails for mounting IR illuminators, lasers, or tactical lighting systems.
All NVDs sold by B&H feature bright-light protection systems. However, this does not mean that bright light can/will not damage the device. Exposure to bright light compromises the longevity and performance of image intensifier tubes.

Comments about ATN Trident Pro2-2 5.0x Night Vision Riflescope:
I love to see in the dark. This scope does a pretty fair job. With the 2.5x doubler on the edges of the view are sort of fisheyed. The middle however is quite clear and I've been able to hit almost all targets I've shot at out to 100+ yds with the supplied illuminator. If you want so shoot farther you need a bigger illuminator. The elevation and windage adjustments are not very definite. Its hard to tell what is a click in low light. Its kinda heavy on a light rifle it feels top-heavy. Last but not least there's no off-on switch on the illuminator. To turn it off you loosen the battery cap or take the battery out. The reticle bright and dim mechanism is kinda difficult to get used to and I wish the reticle went a little brighter. Overall I like it. Would I buy it again? Maybe for a few hundred less.
