I bought this headset for both use in audio production and gaming. It fell short in both. The audio quality from the mic is not near what logitech claims, nor is the sound that comes through the speakers. In addition the headset is very tight on the head which makes it quite uncomfortable when worn for more than a fifteen minutes.

The headset is comfortable and the sound is excellent. While not able to plug in directly to my sound card for true 7.1 channels, the headset itself performs very well as a standalone using the USB connect. Get great sound distinction with COD MW2.Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for excellent surround sound headset/mic combo.
