Comments about NeatReceipts Mobile Scanner for Mac:
I haven't had a scanner for a while, my dell all in one bite the dust sometime last year. This one works great, a little slow but the software is easy to use. Scanning receipts is easy as well as documents. I have only scanned one picture so far and even that came out great. Not so sure I get rid of all the paper in my life but I can scan away a lot of it with this scanner.

Comments about NeatReceipts Mobile Scanner for Mac:
This scanner started out working great. It is very small, fits in a laptop bag or backpack and convenient. The software does crash a good bit though when up and running does a nice job. After about five days, the scanner wouldn't scan properly. I ended up sending the scanner back. I think I'm going with the Fujitsu 1300 Scanner. Nice idea from Neat Receipts, but not consistent scanning.

Comments about NeatReceipts Mobile Scanner for Mac:
This is plug and play. No problems. No fuss. The analytical software is not perfect. In fact, it misses the "vendor" name almost all the time if the name is in logo format. But entering the correct data is easy enough. I particularly like the "save to PDF" function for just about any document or web page. It's small enough I can leave it on the desk and not be a clutter.

Comments about NeatReceipts Mobile Scanner for Mac:
I've seen the commercials and I've read the reviews. I was looking forward to purchasing this system and putting it to good use. The scanner is nice and compact, but the scans are a little blurry. Long receipts are difficult to feed straight into the unit so the digital copy ends up crooked, which makes it difficult to crop.
The NeatWorks software is a real letdown. The Neat company says, "NeatWorks for Mac was built to look and feel like the applications you use everyday," but the interface didn't feel like it was well thought out. My biggest complaint is that the receipts you scan do not crop automatically.
Having said all of that, I don't know if there's other options out there. If so, I'm sure that they're not as good as the Neat system. I'm just spoiled with well written Mac applications and I felt that NeatWorks for Mac was built by PC designers and programmers for Mac users. I'm actually going to return this product soon.

Comments about NeatReceipts Mobile Scanner for Mac:
The scanner is just a regular scanner, only designed better.
The package software is good and the OCR is outstanding. It recognizes most receipts and business cards. I'm using this with a Mac and haven't had any issues yet.
