I bought this bag to hold a Canon Eos Rebel and one extra lens, with the hopes that it would also serve as a day bag while on vacation in Thailand. So far so good! It has plenty of room for the camera and extra lens, plus space on one side for some small things. I can fit my cell phone, keys, and a small wallet with some room to spare. The only drawback is that with the hard sides, it can sometimes be hard to reach in and grab things. That also makes the front pocket a little tight. But since its primary function is to hold and protect the camera, I can't really complain. So far I love it.

I din not have an opportunity to feel the bag before buying it because I live in Europe and it is not sold in Europe. So, I have bought it solely because it gets excellent reviews everywhere and looked like has right sizes for me. However, the bag is pretty much disappointing. Velcro, which make terrible noise and hyper sticky is everywhere (the silencers can only help with the main compartment but there are more pockets secured by it). The quality of the bag is average, and I don not understand why people is so exited about it. These bright orange inserts look really tasteless in the reality. The shoulder belt is not removable. The bag does not stay securely in vertical position. The padding is OK, but as OK as in almost any photographic bag. Generally speaking, "the non-photographic" look of the bag makes it pretty uncomfortable for those who taking photos. I believe now that photographic bags should have zippers and buckles, and minimum velcro. At least it was some lesson for me.

Comments about Crumpler 5 Million Dollar Home Camera Bag (Brown with Orange Accents):
I travel quite often and this bag is perfect for it. It is not too big, very durable, and has more than enough room for my DSLR, two extra lenses, and other small things like extra batteries, memory cards, your wallet, etc. The bag closes in the front with velcro which works extremely well, but the additional closures in the front are perfect for when I go hiking. I'm pretty sure there is nothing I would change about this bag.

Comments about Crumpler 5 Million Dollar Home Camera Bag (Brown with Orange Accents):
The photo displays the camera with lens, second lens and flash and I can tell you that the photo is spot on.
The camera does not slide down into the bag, but rather, rests on the inserts inside the bag, giving great protection to the most expensive part of the camera, the lens.
I'm using it for my Canon T3i with the Canon 15-85MM lens attached, a second 70-300 lens in the compartment to the left of the camera and a Speedlite 430II to the right.
Lots of padding. The Velco is tight but not so tight that you can't get the camera out fast for a quick shot.
Plenty of room in the front pocket for filters, extra battery, cards, etc.
Highly recommend if you're looking for a compact, light but sturdy bag.

I bought this bag after buying the 7 million dollar home. The 7 is great for putting all of my gear in, but too big for everyday use. The 5 is perfect for my 70-300mm lens, and camera body with 35mm. I carry this with me every where I go and I love that it doesn't look like a camera bag.

This camera bag is everything it says it is, worth 5 million dollars. I have fit my Rebel Xsi, Canon 70-20 f/4 with hood reversed, 430ex, as well as my 18-55mm or 50mm f/1.8 underneath my Camera with my sigma 10-20mm attached. The front pouch housed 4 extra AA batteries as well as extra cards, remote shutter release, and a lens and body cap.
I trust this bag as it has a lot of protection. I love the fact you can decide how the bag closes (velcro or the compression straps) by using the velcro silencers on one or both sides. Adjustable dividers make a world of difference since no gear is the same size.
The above gear is getting a bit tight (as you can imagine) but it WORKS, I will someday upgrade to the 6 million dollar home as I image it would have a little more give room wise.

I use this as an everyday bag with my Canon 5d mkII and the 35L lens. You can fit it in with the lens hood on, a book/kindle, charger and some extra small stuff. If you mount the hood backwards I can even fit a small lunchbox when I go to work.
Perfect for taking with me every day just doing things for fun.
Doing work, I'd probably take a larger bag to fit all my stuff in.

Bought to fit an olympus E-30, 12-60 lens, and 70-300 lens, plus a few odds and sods. Everything fitted. It wasn't too big, and with the addition of the "third leg" shoulder pad, it was very comfortable despite the weight it was holding. This is my fourth crumpler product, and I have never been disappointed. Strong, clever design, and they look great! The velcro silencers worked a treat, too, given this bag went on Safari in Botswana

Great bag for DSLR (D5) and can fit a compact zoom and fixed 50mm. Does not look like a camera bag, so great for travel. One thing that would be nice would be a mechanism to attach a compact tripod.

absolutely top-notch quality construction for the money.
if you're not ready to drop the coin on a bilingham or domke but are looking to a solid bag, the crumpler is it.
the materials, the fasteners, the stitching, the padding. everything is made with a lifetime of use in mind.
one thing to keep in mind. the bag is well-padded which is great for protecting gear but this can also make it bulkier than some of the others (i.e. the domke w/o the option pad inserts).

I wanted a bag to carry my 7D with a 17-35 mm lense and one 70-200mm. The Crumpler 5 Million Dollar is just right. It also has room for spare batteries,CF's and more! Small enough to be comfortable to carry and big enough to handle all my travel needs!!

This bag holds my micro four thirds kit consisting of a GF1, GH1, 7-14mm, 14-140mm, 20mm and various small accessories (filters, release cable etc). It's a tight fit though and I'd probably go up to th 6 or higher if you have more gear or full size DSLRs.

wanted the smallest bag that was sturdy and would hold my 5DII with 24-105 mm lens (with lens hood reversed) and one additional accessory (lens or flash). This bag does it and has enough add'l room for another small accessory and cards etc. Love it!

Not one complaint about this bag. Everything about it is perfect, including the color. It is extremely durable. I fit my Canon T2i with attached lens, an extra lens, battery & charger, power cords, camera manual, and a few other things. I use it for taking the camera on our hikes and the kids games. I like that it does not look like a camera bag. It is nicely padded inside and feels safe for the camera. I highly recommend it! Once I acquire more lenses, etc. I will purchase one of their bigger bags. Excellent quality!

Great Bag, carried it everywhere with me on my last vacation. Small enough that it looked like a normal bag. Was able to fit my Nikon D90, 2 lenses, extra battery, power cord, couple of memory cards, iphone, and my wallet. Just wish I could strap on my tripod somewhere as well, and I would've been all set.
