Although I am still search for the "perfect camera bag" -- the Crumpler 5 MDH is a great walk around camera bag that doesn't scream "camera bag." Fitting the Canon 5D Mark II with an L-bracket attached is a bit snug; but it works! If you have a smaller camera you will have lots of room.
Thus far I've taken the bag into the field with one of the following lenses attached to my camera: 24-105mm F/4L, 100mm F/2.8 and the 16-35mm F2.8L and they have all fit in the bag and allowed me just enough room to squeeze in either my 580EX flash and RSS bracket with off-camera cord attached or my 70-200mm F/4 zoom lens. Please note that the lens hoods were not attached at the time; rather they were in the upside down stowaway position on the lens.
I took this bag to a Blue Angels air show and had the 24-105 attached with the 70-200mm along side it - however, there was no room in the bag for the 1.4 tele-converter. I attached the tele-converter pouch to one of the outside loops using a D-clip; wasn't pretty but it works. I will be looking for a lens pouch that I can latch onto the side of the bag just for the tele-converter. I also clipped my iPod Nano to one of the outside loops. I watched guys rolling in with suitcases and backpacks of gear -- there is something truly sublime about coming into an event like that stripped to the bare essentials and walking away with the shot!
Like I said, it's a tight fit but I can do it -- perhaps the 6 million Dollar would have been a better fit but, I really wanted something small that looked more like a purse.
The velcro silencers are a great addition and the bag is well padded. The brightly colored interior makes finding gear easy.
Cons: the front pocket just barely holds my small flat wallet and cell phone. The mesh pocket built into the cover flap of the purse does hold cards, extra battery, 77mm CPL filter etc. but if you put too much in there it gets harder to close it with the flap laying flat against the body of the bag. Also the edges of items get caught in the mesh.
The bag is not waterproof but does an adequate job of repelling water. Crumpler really should throw in the pad for the strap but you have to purchase that separately.
On a personal note, I preferred the older model with just one buckle and strap because it looked more "purse-like" -- although I must admit, the two buckle/strap combination is more secure.

Crumpler bags are idiosyncratic and fun. If you like their stuff and their sense of design, you will LOVE this bag. If not, look elsewhere.

Purchased this for my father as a gift and he loves it. The perfect size for his new Nikon with room to grow once he invests in another lens or too. I love the bright interior, too. Great for finding things.

Just the right size for wandering around. Managed to fit all the essentials. Extra battery, 50mm, 135mm and 18-70mm zoom, phone, spare cards, d7000 and a monopod across the top but under the flap. Thought it would be a bit tight at first but wears in perfectly.

With the dividers removed I could barely fit my Canon D7 with 24-70 lens attached. I could not store it lens down, it had to be placed on its side. This configuration left little room for my point and shoot or another lens. If you are looking for a minimilist bag or have a smaller DLSR, this would work well. If in doubt I would size up to the 6 mill dollar bag.

Just the right size for a DSLR, extra lens and flash. Looks much cooler than your standard blocky camera bag.

Comments about Crumpler 5 Million Dollar Home Camera Bag (Black with Gun Metal Gray Accents):
Originally bought the 4 Million Dollar bag for my Pentax K-r with an 18-55mm lens and 55-300mm lens, however returned it because it was a bit too small. This bag fits camera with lens plus additional lens much more comfortably.
The 4 Million Dollar bag is just too snug and you feel like you could be damaging your gear. Also provides enough room in the main component to fit other gear - e.g. filters, charger, pc/power cords. Also has other sections to carry other smaller items like memory cards, etc.
Bag is made of very high quality material and you feel very safe carrying your gear knowing it won't get damaged. It also a nice size - was worried that it would be too big compared to the 4 Million Dollar bag, but is actually a good size and doesn't look like your carrying a bag that screams, "I have a big DLSR camera in here".
As a side note, what tipped me over the edge in buying a Crumpler bag, was the write up on their website of how the company was formed. Being a fellow Aussie, I was thrilled to find out the first Crumpler bag was made because the founder needed a stronger bag to carry his beer on his bike! No better reason to have a strong bag!

This bag is awesome. I was looking for a bag that looks like a messenger bag but can protect my gear. Its a tad bulkier than a messenger bag, but its close enough (has to be since there is gear in there).
There is enough room for my camera and two lenses, and with room left over (hopefully for the speedlite I will get next). The padding is good and there are a bunch of compartments/pockets. I definitely recommend it.

Comments about Crumpler 5 Million Dollar Home Camera Bag (Black with Gun Metal Gray Accents):
This is a great bag. I really like the lime green detail inside. I bought it to use with my new Canon 7D, which does not fit in my old bag. This bag looks simple and less technical than others, so my girlfriend uses it as a purse when we go on day trips with the camera, so I do not have to carry anything but the camera. Fits my 7D with large 16-35mmL lens with hood reversed in one compartment, with my 50mm with hood reversed in another. I don't use the second divider, but if I had a flash I would. Flash would fit tight with the hoods. I would probably go one size larger if you want to fit much more, and it not be too tight. I can also fit my Sony card reader and cable, Tiffen filter kit, extra memory cards, batteries. The front compartment is actually pretty large. I also like the bag because it does not stick out from your back much. You don't have to worry about knocking stuff over (like at an art show for example). I think the best thing is that you can remove the dividers and use it as a general bag if you need. Most bags do not have the shape or design to be just a bag. I do think more advanced photographers will feel like the bag is too small. It all comes down to the camera and lenses, so if you have ones similar in size to those I listed you will be fine. The padding is great with lots of flexibility, and the Velcro closure is solid. Plus, you can guarantee it will stay closed with the two clicker things. One thing I do not like is some times the strap adjustment is right on my collar bone, and can get a little uncomfortable, but I do prefer the bag to sit higher on my back, so that may be why.

Bought the 5MDH for my Canon 5D Mark II and 24-70 lens. I was concerned it wouldn't fit but it does. I needed something just for quick outings and this is it. Great!

This camera bag was purchased as a gift for my husband. He already has a smaller Crumpler bag and a larger Crumpler bag. This bag is a perfect addition for photo-shoot outings and does not scream "look at me".

Comments about Crumpler 5 Million Dollar Home Camera Bag (Black with Gun Metal Gray Accents):
I received my bag today and already love it! It is exactly what I was expecting. Nice size, nice padding, nice look. It is big enough to hold my 40D with EF-S 17-55mm f2.8 attached, Sigma 30mm f1.4 and Speedlite 430ex II, with enough space for extra smaller stuff (spare batteries and memory cards, lenspen, cell phone, wallet, keys...) among the several pockets. It looks tiny from the outside, barely seems that there is a camera inside. Padding is very good, strap is long enough to carry it bellow my waist level, and handle is really usable. I like the velcro (and velcro silencers), it is very strong. I can even carry the bag by the handle just closed with the velcro, without using the buckles. It is a little heavier than I thought. It is not a huge problem, though the inclusion of a shoulder pad would be a nice touch.I am very happy with my purchase. I will be more comfortable now, since it doesn't look like a camera bag at all. Highly recommended!

If you are looking for a compact bag to fit your 7D with a 17-55 2.8 lens attached, look no futher. This is the perfect bag! It looks great, very high quality and is very compact. It also has room for a couple more medium size lenses.

Comments about Crumpler 5 Million Dollar Home Camera Bag (Black with Gun Metal Gray Accents):
The bag is perfect size for me. I have the 7MDH, but it's just a little big for a "go to" bag for my taste. This one is not too bulky or small, and it holds the essentials that I need. It manages to hold my D300, 18-200mm VR, SB800, 100mm Tokina macro, and a 50mm 1.4d lens in the main compartment. On top of that, I got two chargers, USB cable, extra battery, CF cards, ipod, cleaning cloth, a Vivitar remote on all the other pockets, and a Gary Fong collapsable diffuser tied on the top handle. Space is a little tight, but it works for me. It can hold my camera with a battery grip, but it's very cramped. Highly recommended if you like taking a smaller bag without all your gear. Also, Like what people say, it's not an obvious camera bag. The only complaint I have is that it didn't come with a shoulder pad. I would recommend buying that extra accessory if you purchase this bag. I feel like it should have come with the bag as it did with my 7MDH. Good luck on making your choice.

This product was purchased for a business trip to New York City. I wanted a smaller bag that was easy to cart around with me while walking 10-12 hours, fit most of my equipment, and did not scream, "Expensive Photography Equipment Lives in Here!" I was initially excited when I received it -- only to realize that it did not meet the requirements of the photo equipment I was traveling with (a small variety of lenses, Canon Rebel xti, flash, etc.) I chose to leave it at home and traveled with my much larger bag instead that at least houses the equipment comfortably.
This bag is sharp, made with outstanding quality, and definitely does not look like your average camera bag; it really is outstanding. Hindsight being what it is, I simply should've ordered a larger bag.

I have a ton of different bags, but for my Leica rangefinder gear this one is the best! I can carry an M body (digital or film), with grip, two or three lenses, and other accessories (wallet, keys, sunglasses, etc.) all day long. It can also hold two M bodies, and two lenses, plus extras. The build quality is exceptional, and the adjustable strap is quite comfortable. Sure, you can spend 3 - 5X more on a bag, but it won't deliver 3 - 5X performance. The best part is, it does not scream: "Look...an expensive camera inside!"
