ATN PS22-3A Day/Night Tactical Kit

The PS22-3A Day/Night Tactical Kit combines the high-performance nighttime viewing abilities of ATN's PS22 with the battle-proven daytime sighting performance of a Leupold 2.5-8x36 Mark 4 MR/T M2 Riflescope. A full complement of attachment devices is included, making this an extremely versatile tactical day and night vision sighting system.

The PS22 is a night vision attachment that facilitates the conversion of your day-time sighting system into a night vision weapon sight. The PS22 can be co-aligned on a weaver rail with a red-dot sight, or fitted directly to the front of your riflescope with the appropriate mount.

The PS22-3A features a third generation intensifier that delivers 64-72 lp/mm of resolution. This NVD is designed for operation within the 1-6x magnification range of your daytime optic. However, you will experience optimum performance within the 2.5-4x power settings.

Leupold's 2.5-8x36 Mark 4 MR/T M2 riflescope delivers performance without compromise; this tactical optic is well suited to urban settings, wide open spaces, and all points in-between. All the features of the Mark 4 line are present; a rugged 30mm main tube milled from a single piece of high grade aluminum, quick and repeatable precision adjustments, and world class coated optics that deliver a brilliant sight picture.

There are many variables that affect the distance that one can see with a night vision device; the object's size, ambient weather and lighting conditions, the level of detail needed for recognition, etc. The important factors to consider when evaluating any night vision device are the generation of the intensifier tube along with its specified resolution and s/n ratio. The magnification, clarity, and light transmission performance of the NVD's optics also contribute to its low/no-light performance capabilities.
