The OTIS-14 from ATN is a compact dual-function thermal monocular; it can be employed as a hand-held scope, or weapon-mounted as a thermal sighting system. The OTIS-14's imaging engine is based upon an uncooled microbolometer that delivers a rapid start-up time and excellent levels of resolution.
The OTIS-14 can be head or helmet mounted, or connected to another monocular to build a thermal binocular viewing system. Its superior performance, compact size, and cost efficiency make it an excellent thermal imaging solution.
Thermal imaging provides the ability to view through darkness, fog, smoke, and many obscurants. Traditional camouflage is useless when trying to hide from a thermal viewer - as long as there is a heat signature, the OTIS-14 will be able to see what's producing it.
