Comments about Adesso AKB-430UG Win Touch Pro Desktop Multimedia Touchpad Keyboard (Black, USB):
I bought this keyboard for daily use in the office, because using the mouse was causing problems to my wrist.
In general, I'm happy with it. Touch pad is great, better than the one on my laptop, keys are soft and quiet. I also like that it is a full size keyboard with numeric keypad and big size Enter key.
However, ever since I bought it, I have observed that sometimes a key will remain pressed. This does not seem to be a mechanical issue (due to wear out), it seems to be a software (perhaps driver) issue, since the key which remains pressed will stop being pressed as soon as I hit a different key (It will not stop if I try to hit the same key which remains pressed).
Also, sometimes I have noticed that the 'Windows' key stops working until I restart my computer, or other times, pressing key-combinations (e.g. 'Windows Key' + 'L', to lock the computer in windows XP) do not work at the first try. I sometimes need to press the keys several times for the key combination to be recognized.
I have worked for 11+ years, always in front of a computer, and this is the only keyboard where I have observed these type of problems. It is only 6 months old, so I don't think it's a wear-out issue.
I would definetly not recommend this keyboard for safety-critical applicacions, or a manufacturing line environment. I would only recommend it for home use, or office use, if you don't mind the keys sticking every now and then... (In a total of 6 months, this has happened around 10 times. In my case, nothing fatal, only need to press a different key, and delete whatever was typed).

Comments about Adesso AKB-430UG Win Touch Pro Desktop Multimedia Touchpad Keyboard (Black, USB):
I like the quiet keys and the touchpad avoids repetitive motion damage to my arm/shoulder from mousing. The only thing I would change is to move the touchpad a few inches to the right. It would be more convenient for a right hander to use all parts of the keyboard.
