This cover is a very good accessory for my EX1R.
It has quite a snug fit which does mean it can take a little while to get on (plan for this!), once it is on it performs very well. It is clearly well designed and made.
The only concern I have is that the transparent panel (behind which the main controls rest) separates from the camera (to allow operation of controls) by simple velcro attachments - meaning that there can be space on either end of the panel which is quite open to rain coming in, if the conditions are especially poor. It is a minor issue however - I'd be unlikely to be recording in such conditions regardless.

It is a bit of a sod to get on a sony NX5 but if you start at the lens and work back it is possible. Took me about 10 minutes the first time so not something you just want to slip on and off. Might be easier on other cameras Once it is on though it fits well and will do the job of keeping the camera dry

If you are using a PMW-EX1, a word to the wise: don't get it wet. I just fried an LCD screen because water got in it. I have one brand of rain cover but it is not tight enough around the front of the camera, so I was looking for one that had excellent LCD screen protection.
The camRade does a great job of that. Downsides are that it is time-consuming to put it on and only accommodates the factory shotgun mount (which is ok, but I use another mount so I can fit a wireless receiver on the camera along with a light). And that's the other thing. Most rain covers for the EX1 don't have any provisions for a camera light. I haven't figured out a good way to use the light with this rig.
It's well made and will protect the camera well in a heavy rain; just realize that it is difficult to fit in all the accessories you might need for shoots.

I needed a rain cover for my EX1, and this works perfectly for me. It's easy to put on and has kept the camera completely dry while shooting in two major snow storms in New England. Snow doesn't stick and water just beads up and rolls off.
I really like the material itself because it is not slippery. It has a sort of rubbery feel to it that makes it easy to grip.

A must in snow and raining conditions. Fits the camera well, too expensive though.

Comments about camRade WS-PMWEX1 wetSuit:
I bought this cover as I had been using my old Z1 Raincover for the EX1, but it didnt accommodate the slide out LCD screen very well. I like this cover more but it does take a lot longer to fit this cover to the camera than some other ones due to its design. I work in ENG (Electronic News Gathering) so a quick fitting cover is preferred. Once fitted though I am happy with the protection it provides especially they way it accomodates external mics which most of these cameras will have fitted. One flaw I have found on nearly all raincover designs is that they never accomodate covering an external light fitted to the camera. Its great to have the camera safe but if the light gets soaked you may as well not have one at all.
