I use this as my monitor for my laptop when I do editing in Pro Tools or watching a movie. Honestly I have no complaints. The picture is pretty sharp for what you pay for, but keep in mind you aren't buying a $700 monitor. If you are on a budget, this is simply a great choice and you won't be disappointed.

Haven't had it long enough to know how it'll stand up over time, but it's truly a beautiful monitor - both in terms of picture quality and just the device, itself. Integrated speakers are a bit weak, but easily compensated for with an external sound system. It's an acceptable trade-off, for the image quality and price.

Comments about HP / Hewlett-Packard 2009m 20" 16:9 HD Ready Widescreen LCD Computer Display:
Not sure why I bought a widescreen monitor when almost everything I do photographically is in a different format. The monitor automatically shows pictures in the correct format but the result is wasted screen space and a smaller image.
The monitor performance however is very good.

We use the HP displays for Dual monitors here at our business. They provide excellent clarity for extended usage while starring at your screen, they also won't break the bank. Great built in audio for those YouTube emails your co-workers will send you. It is a elegant design and takes up little space on a desk.
Do yourself and your co-workers a favor. Hook them up with an HP

I like the auto adjustment feature, it gives ease while installing it. I would consider doing a group buy for my company if a discount can be applied.
The only thing I would add is height adjustability, I have the current one on a stand to maintain proper posture while sitting at the desk.

I replaced my 15in LCD monitor with this 20" one from HP. I love it. It has great picture quality and it automatically adjusts your screen resolution based on your video card capabilities. Definitely worth the money you pay for it, which I thought was a great price compared with other stores.

This is a real upgrade from my 4-5 year old HP 18" monitor that died. This unit is for home use and it's a big improvement over the old one. Easy plug & play with the auto/OK button next to the power switch. Press, and your set up is done. Picture quality is excellent. If I get 3-4 years for [$], I'll be satisfied...Excellent order turnaround service and price from B&H Photo.

I use this for my home CPU ... really like the tilt screen so I can angle it to avoid back ground reflections. Its a little short on some of the menu adjustments but overall all its well worth the price.

Comments about HP / Hewlett-Packard 2009m 20" 16:9 HD Ready Widescreen LCD Computer Display:
This is a good monitor for the price, but I wouldn't use it if I were doing any kind of professional graphics work because the colors are a little dull.
I do mostly music editing, so it's great for portability and it doesn't leave a big footprint on my work space. The wide screen is also great for viewing the entire song in one frame. I haven't tried out the onboard speakers, but so far the only thing that disappointed me was the lack of bright/ true colors.

I bought this monitor for my daughter's computer. She's on it like cartoons. I can't get over the clarity. The size is awesome for the price. I dont have any qualms. In fact, I may purchase another one in the near future. For me. :o)

This is a great monitor for the price and I'm even tempted to buy another one to replace an old CRT monitor I have. I have used it to surf the web, play games, and view pictures. I have foune that photos and video show great on this monitor. I would definately recommend this monitor to a friend.
