It works well with my Epson 4880 and looks nice with my printing. THe only issue: cutting. Make sure you have a nice blade and straight-edge, because the printer thinks that this paper is too thick to cut.

The colors I have been getting with the paper are amazing. Very easy to work with and have had no jams.

Comments about Ilford Galerie Smooth Glossy Inkjet Photo Paper Roll (17" x 100'):
Admittedly, I only bought this paper to have a 17-inch wide roll to run through my new Epson Stylus Pro 4880. I mean really, why buy a 17" wide roll-capable printer and then limit yourself to small sheets, right? I chose this because it was the least expensive 17" roll in stock. I have been more than pleasantly surprised.
Prior to purchasing my own printer, I had become enamored with the 3D quality of printing to metallic photo papers. This paper does an amazing job of emulating that luminous quality at a substantially lower price.
The only bad thing I can say about it is that, due to its true glossy surface, it does show a fair degree of gloss differential around highlights using a pigment printer like the 4880. That said, you truly have to be looking for it, and even then it's up to you whether or not it's objectionable. I can easily see it, but I just don't get hung up on it as so many others do. It certainly doesn't bother me enough to consider coating my prints to change it.
What it does do is produce beautiful prints at a cost-per-area that few other papers can match. With saturated colors, it looks like a page from a magazine, only with a weight and feel like a fine lab print. With less saturated images, it lets the tone of the print show through without imparting its own "stamp" on the image.
If you're just starting out with 17" wide printing, this is the paper to hang on your printer. If you've been at it for a while and want a delightful gloss tone for an image, this paper will handle it elegantly. And given its cost, and Ilford's stunning printer profiles, I can see no reason to use any other of the gloss papers currently available.
