Galerie Smooth Pearl Paper for Inkjet features the most recent HDR (High Dynamic Range) coating. It is what Ilford calls "Touch Dry" straight from the printer. This is a heavyweight based paper that produces excellent color that is quite sharp.

Throughout college I have used all sorts of paper to print, but the Ilford galerie smooth pearl is my favourite by far. I love it because it in tonality it seems subtle and not quite as poppy as Epson premium luster. It doesn't have much of a sheen to it, and the majority of what I print tends to just look better on this paper. It suits my style of shooting quite well.

We used this paper to output some large scale reproductions of paintings from the Northern Renaissance for an art history class project. The prints were flawless and captured every meticulous detail of the original image. The paper has a nice weight and was easy to manipulate, but was also sturdy enough to resist buckles and creases. I would happily order rolls of it for future projects.

I have been a fan of Ilford Galerie Smooth Pearl paper for the past 6 years. I find it has a good weight and the surface has a nice smooth look with alittle texture. I use this paper in all sizes. I have tried others but tghis prints well and the profiles Ilford give match right on.I use this paper in my Epson 4880 & 9880 printers. Highly recommended
