Perfect tool for Pocket Wizard users, the size and look really enhances my studio equipment presentation. I wish the price was a little lower, however it is a perfect match for my a700 and a900 Sony cameras. Sometimes you have to pay a little more to get a good product

Works as described what I do not like are the size it's very long and the cost Sony make their hot shoe proprietary and then sell you an overpriced adaptor

I havent tried with Pocket Wizards, I've tried with COWBOY STUDIO wireless triggers and It does not work, so if you are a sony user try some YONGNUO they do work.

I needed this accessory for my SONY Alpha Camera fast and quick and while other resources either didn't carry it or was much more expensive from the OEM.[...]and worked flawlessly as specified with the remote flash system I purchased. The unit performed well as expected.

While taking a camera class I found that my Sony camera could not be used with the instructors flash equiptment. Every time it weas my turn to take pictures he had to undo all the wireless sensors in order to let my flash trip all the remote flashes. He suggested I get this Hot Shoe and I did. The next night I could take pictures just like everyone else and did not need to be last again. Thanks B&H!

Just slides on like the hotshoe and then you can attach any hotshoe you want , but I recommend sticking with Sony just because you'll seem to get a better fit that way. If you don't have one , don't sweat it though , like I said they will work with any hotshoe.

I own a Sony A-300. The adapter worked great with every flash I own. The FA-HS1AM did not work with the Opteka OP-4C transmitter and the same transmitter from NEEWER.I purchased the item for specifically that reason. I am now wondering if a Pocket Wizard will work with the Sony adapter and I am back to working with the Seagull SC-5 Hot Shoe Adapter. [...] I can use it with a standard flash and bounce light from a ceiling. It will protect the camera at least some of the time.

Needed this for attaching radio slave sender to Alpha 850. Quality built. Low profile. Only negative I can think of is you might forget to turn it off and run the battery down. Inexpensive battery anyway.

It is easy to use. Now I am able to use other flash but of course, on Manual Mode and Flash Auto mode only. But it's great to have one of this.

I need a hotshoe in order to trigger off studio lights. I used to use the pop-up flash on the A700 to trigger the lights. Since buying the hotshoe, I use a Elinchrom RX trigger and it does wonders. And I like the fact that it has a battery check, in case I need to switch.
