The Zeiss DC-4 12.6mm Eyepiece with Integrated 4 MP Digital Camera is a high-quality optical observation eyepiece with an integrated 4 megapixel digital camera. The DC-4 allows true observation and image capture through the same eyepiece simultaneously, without the need for an additional camera and adapter. You can now observe through the eyepiece, select the image on the LCD screen, and capture the image by using the included remote control.

Using one integrated system makes for a much faster and simpler digiscoping process, since you don't have to remove the eyepiece, as with conventional "digiscoping" outfits.

Camera Settings
In order to produce perfect pictures, the camera menu offers numerous setting options:
  • Illumination control ± 2 lens apertures
  • Picture series function for up to 5 pictures
  • Control of contrast and color reproduction
  • ISO sensitivity from 50-800
  • Automatic white-balance plus 5 selectable color temperatures
  • Selectable display languages: German/English
ACDSee 8.1 Photo-Manager Software
The supplied ACDSee 8.1 Photo-Manager facilitates archiving, sorting and sending of pictures. The integrated picture processing software offers many options for professional picture design.
Integrated DxO Software
The integrated DxO software provides excellent picture correction as far as sharpness, contrast and color fidelity are concerned.
Shock and Weatherproof
The DC4 features a rugged enclosed housing with solid rubber armoring. It is shockproof and impact resistant, sealed against spray water, and can be used even during bad weather.
Adaptable to Any Telescope Accepting 1.25" or 2" Eyepieces
Zeiss' own eyepiece adapters, listed here as accessories, allow the use of the DC4 on any telescope which uses 1.25" or 2" eyepieces.
