For my uses this is a lot better than the full-size keypad model, saving desk space. I did not want wireless, so this one is perfect. It is a little expensive, but the build quality is excellent.

I originally owned the Apple Keyboard with the extra number pad but decided to go with the smaller keyboard to add space on my pull-out keyboard tray in my computer desk. I now have about 5 inches or so of extra space for my mouse to roam around, exactly what I needed. I did not go with the wireless keyboard because I needed an extra powered USB port (this keyboard has 2, one on each side). If you are looking to save space on your desk, and need more USB ports, I'd recommend this keyboard.

I actually bought this 'short' keyboard to trade with my girlfriend for her extended keyboard. I use the numbers a lot, so wanted the long one. We both really love the touch and the sound of this keyboard. Very slick...sleek...NICE!

I bought this to replace the beat-up keyboard on my iMac G5, OSX 10.4.11 and cannot use it fully with out upgrading to OSX 10.5.6 - which is no longer available from Apple!!! Now what?
It looks great, feels great, but doesn't work for me or my handicapped son.
