Gitzo GB320 2-Section Aluminum Boompole with G-Lock
The Gitzo GB320 2-Section Boompole measures 2.52' (77cm) when collapsed and 4.56" (139cm) when expanded. The pole is intended to mount various field and studio production microphones; such as shotgun and stereo microphones. Both sections lock in place and Gitzo's Anti Leg Rotation system helps stabilize microphones. The pole is constructed of a durable lightweight aluminum with a maximum load capacity of 4.50 lb (2kg), and features a mat black finish.

Decent boom for low budget stuff, but it's a lightweight, so make sure you don't stack crates and stuff on top of it in the truck. Good choice for the price.

I recently have bought this boom pole and for the price that it already is. It satisfied my needs for a start. Though when you buy the product that round tip at the end, I really don't know what it's for and I found it kinda useless. Don't expect anything that this boom pole will hold your mic cause it doesn't. When I bought my shotgun mic it came with a mic holder so I had to duct tape that to this boom pole so it can stick. But other than that the pole is good for independent productions, I don't know about big productions though.

For someone looking for a lightweight compact boom this one covers both. Don't expect tons of reach...but for the closeup video production work I do it comes in super handy. It would be nice if it came with a pistol grip but...hey for this price...
