IK Multimedia AmpliTube Fender - Software Amplifier and FX Suite
AmpliTube Fender from IK Multimedia is an official guitar/bass amplifier and FX modeling software suite made in cooperation with Fender Musical Instruments. The collection includes 49 pieces of gear representing the most sought after classic and modern Fender amplifiers including the '65 Twin Reverb, '57 Deluxe, '59 Bassman LTD, '64 Vibroverb Custom, Super-Sonic, Metalhead and many more, in addition to cabinets, stomp boxes and rack effects.
Suitable for use with both guitar and bass, the software suite can be used for any style of music, from Country to Blues and Rock, Punk to Metal and beyond.

I purchased as an add-on to Amplitube3. It can be run stand-alone but I prefer to add all the Fender equipment to what's already in place with A3 and be able to use the A3 GUI. The Fender amp sounds are classic and pretty inspiring, but, to be honest, I wouldn't want to only have the Fender package because all the stuff that comes with A3 is so excellent (I love the Marshall simulations).

AmpliTube software is absolutely amazing and the Fender version is the only option for certain genres like surf. The '63 reverb is the best spring reverb emulation out there--bar none. The ability to record the guitar direct and add the rich springy tubey tone later is essential to efficient home recording...no amp closets to build, no expensive mics to setup.
The included VST container software also offers near zero latency for live performance or just some fun times playing through some great vintage amps and effects.
