The StealthPedal from IK Multimedia is a USB-powered guitar audio interface/software controller in a compact, "wah-style" pedal, allowing users to record, play and control the included "Powered by Amplitube" software, or any other MIDI controllable software, with the same feel and ease of use as a traditional guitar pedal.
The pedal allows anyone to record guitar or bass with their computer with 24-bit A/D and D/A conversion and 44.1/48kHz resolution. Two separate inputs are provided for Hi-Z or line level instruments, as well as two separate outputs, plus a headphone output.
The StealthPedal also works as a software floor controller - the built-in expression pedal and switch can be associated with any parameter of "Powered by Amplitube" software, or any other amplifier and FX modeling software with MIDI control capabilities. The pedal controls can also be expanded with an additional expression pedal and 2 extra switches for building a mini pedal-board rig.
The pedal is housed in a rugged metal enclosure with a volume knob and 3 LED indicators that operate as a status display, tuner, or level indicator when used with any "Powered by AmpliTube" software. Users are not limited to controlling amp-simulator software with StealthPedal, as it can control any effects plug-in, virtual instrument or DAW with MIDI control capabilities.

Comments about IK Multimedia StealthPedal - Audio Interface and Controller Foot Pedal:
In my search for a versatile audio interface to use with my guitar i stumbled across this one which has positive feedbacks as far vista 64-bit drivers are concerned.
***installation***
Unfortunately, like so many other products this came with outdated drivers not compatible with Vista. Unfortunate manufacturer policy to register your product before you are able to download up-to date drivers makes things much more complicated than needed but once i downloaded the latest driver installation went fine.
* a note to manufacturer; make drivers accessible for download without registration hassle and print a big notice on the package that is absolutely recommended to download the newest drivers from the net and forget about the ones included with the package !!
***usage***
I had absolutely no problems with the device and latest drivers.
The sound is clean (no excessive noise), latency is more than adequate on my PC and i particularly welcome the option to use midi control with products like guitar rig (i have no problems launching MIDI control panel first)
I have one big complain tough; while provided proprietary ASIO drivers do work flawlessly i can't see the reason why we shouldn't be able to use the interface with other drivers as well (asio4all for example) if for one reason or another we want to. I hope IK Multimedia will reconsider such policy and make this audio interface more open.
***build quality***
Solid and robust build. To early to say but the pedal gives the impression it will last for long time. While i'm very pleased with the build quality i have few remarks here about what could be implemented better;
- i wish the volume knob was better thought since while it can be used as an additional midi control (for volume pedal for example) it is not possible to control it with a food (and we are talking about food pedal).
- headphone plug should really be a 6.5mm one just as the rest of plugs is.
- my biggest complain about the usability of the product is about the location of jack plugs. Since we have a nice expandability options for additional expression or foot switch it would be much, much better if most (if not all) connection plugs have been placed on the back of the unit (or at least on one side only). As implemented now, cable management is a big issue reducing functionality quite a bit. Angle adapters do help to some extend but still not as elegant as a better planned plug-in location in the first place.
***overall**
All in all, i'm quite satisfied with the product. My major requirements (stable drivers, solid latency and minimal noise) are fulfilled with the product and for that reason i can really recommend it to others. It could be better but still, as it is, for the money, it is a solid solution.
