By incorporating this highly efficient video compression format into a compact and durable camera, Axis is able to present you with a powerful surveillance tool that is also friendly on your network. Complementing these are the camera's excellent image quality and superb low light sensitivity. Other important features of the AXIS P1311 include a built-in SD/SDHC card slot, multiple streaming options and PoE.
- Highly Efficient H.264 Codec
- Of the different video compression formats, H.264 stands out with its ability to generate great looking video images while requiring a fraction of the bandwidth and storage space. You can still choose to transmit using MJPEG or MPEG-4 Part 2 if you feel there's a need for it.
- Built-In SD/SDHC Card Slot
- A built-in SD/SDHC card slot provides you with a quick and easy method for transferring material to a PC. It can also be used as a backup method by recording images during a network failure. This card slot is in addition to the camera's integrated pre/post-alarm buffering system.
- Multiple Streaming with Variable Frame Rates
- You can send multiple streams of video within the same compression format while applying different frame rates and resolutions to each video stream. This gives you greater control over the data distribution process. For example, you may want to set a higher frame rate or resolution for data that is being sent to a recorder than for video that is being viewed live.
- Motion, Audio & Tampering Detection
- You can set the camera to alert you to suspicious motion, sound or if someone is trying to block, spray paint or otherwise tamper with the camera.
