• BD-Live 2.0 Ready: This exquisite player enables full interactive access to down-loadable video content, ringtones, and games. In addition, BD-Live 2.0 offers the ability to easily access (during live playback) additional Blu-ray content such as special subtitles, director's commentary, and movie trailers.

• HDMI (ver. 1.3a) x.v.Color/Deep Color Processing: This unit features an HDMI (ver. 1.3a) output with x.v.Color/Deep Color processing, capable of reproducing exceptionally rich, vibrant colors, with smooth, detailed gradation and color banding. HDMI technology enables the player to carry the HD audio and video information through a single cable and achieving the highest quality picture and clearest sound available. In addition, HDMI supports PCM multi-channel audio and Bitstream audio formats.

• AVC-HD Media Compatibility: Enjoy the ability to play back your HD camcorder MPEG-4 AVC-HD files in full HD resolution. AVC-HD discs encoded with x.v.Color (xvYCC) technology, an international standard for wide color space. It expands the current data range of video by about 1.8 times, resulting in more natural and vivid colors similar to what the human eye can actually see.

• Top-Notch Video Processing: It utilizes a 148MHz/12-bit video D/A converter that provides high quality 4x over-sampling for 1080i/720p output. Noise-shaping video processing, shifts the noise component to an unused area to further enhance the signal-to-noise ratio. By incorporating these technologies, it realizes super-fine, high-definition images with over 4400 billion colors.

• HD Component Video Output: It achieves greater color accuracy and high resolution playback capability when connected via the HD component output to your HD projector, plasma and/or LCD/CRT televisions. It's capable of processing 1080i HD signals through the component video output.

• Progressive Scan with 3:2 Pull-Down: This is a progressive scan DVD player, capable of scanning an entire video frame at once; scan-lines commonly associated with interlaced video are drastically reduced.
