Noise-shaping video processing, shifts the noise component to an unused area to further enhance the signal-to-noise ratio. - Progressive Scan with 3:2 Pull-Down
- This is a progressive scan DVD player, capable of scanning an entire video frame at once; scan-lines commonly associated with interlaced video are drastically reduced. - BonusView with Picture-in-Picture (PIP)

Comments about Panasonic DMP-B15K Portable Blu-ray Disc Player:
Expensive portable unit, but all-around quality component. I use the B15K Portable for personal and private viewing of Blu-Ray content, commentaries, special features of full-length movies, as well as the feature movie itself.
Image and audio quality (I use Bose Headphones) are A-1. This unit and it's performance have "QUALITY" written all over it!
No negatives, although the boot-up time of th DVD playback is slower than I expected.
Playback of AVCHD video from SD Card is spectacular!
Network LAN connection is easily setup and works like a charm. Firmware update was flawless, via Lan download.
Would have preferred newer, Wi-Fi Panasonic modle, chose not to wait until the newer models are released. No problem, as I'm 100% happy with the DMP-B15K version.
