Comments about Panasonic SC-BT300 Blu-ray Home Theater System:
After purchasing the sc-bt300 I can find litle to fault panasonic with. The picture and sound quality are amazing. The first blue-Ray movie I viewed on it was avatar. It performed well. The surround sound made it feel like I was in the theater. If you want great quality for decent price this is a great set up.
There wereany reasons I chose this system over compititers. The 7.1 channel Dolby sound is great for home use. It is rear speaker wireless once you get the wireless connection box. Also if you have a panasonic tv the viera cast makes the need for two remotes obselete. The unit does connect to the Internet and you can play YouTube videos as well as amazon on demand.
The only faults I have found with this system are lack of netflix connectivity, sub is a little loud at first, and unless the manual is read, the remote functions are not intuitive to use. The netflix is available on 2010 model blue-Ray players. The sc-bt300 is a 2009 model. Not a big problem as I can connect using my xbox. The subwoofer is set a little to loud but can be adjusted with the remote. Also the remote does take a little while to learn to navigate.

Comments about Panasonic SC-BT300 Blu-ray Home Theater System:
This Panasonic Blue Ray Unit is very good for a mid range priced system. Not to mention the Quality and Sound it puts out. Have the speakers hooked up to use with my LCD TV and won't be using the TV speakers anymore though they sounded pretty good by themselves. So give it a good look if your looking to buy a home theater system!

Comments about Panasonic SC-BT300 Blu-ray Home Theater System:
This is the first Blu-Ray player I have owned and the second surround sound system. I live in a small apartment, so the sound is very good as I don't need it to carry too far. Also have a Panasonic TV, so I am able to just use one remote which is nice.
Positives: Good sound, pretty good system especially for the price
iPod dock: Works great and needs no extra cords or cables
Negatives: Rear surround speakers need an extra component for wireless capabilities.
I very much recommend this system. Enjoy!

Comments about Panasonic SC-BT300 Blu-ray Home Theater System:
Meet our expectations but needs a larger room to allow the sound to expand to it's full potential. Side speakers had to be placed toward the rear in our application; however the surround effect remained in tack.

Comments about Panasonic SC-BT300 Blu-ray Home Theater System:
The SC-BT300 is a very good buy for first-time home theater system buyers. It has amazing sound, very flexible to be used with multiple sources, real easy to use and set up and looks nice too.
The 1250 W audio is powerful enough to listen to crystal clear music in every room of my house (a big 2-bedroom apartment) even though its placed in the living room. I love war movies and this is the best I have heard them play outside of a movie hall. The surround sound picks up every detail and gives a movie hall feeling.
This system can be used with multiple sources such as TV, laptop, iPod/iPhone, etc. The instruction manual is very detailed and I had no issues whatsoever setting it up. It also contains detailed instructions on how to use the multiple features of this system and so I truly believe that is an amazing package.

I use this hometheater with my Panasonic TV and the sound is great. set up was relatively easy speaker wires are color coded and the output with HDMI cable is awesome.
The one thing I have yet to figure out how to get connected to netflix. Although I have cable TV the router didn't work but it may be too far of a distance to the modem.

Comments about Panasonic SC-BT300 Blu-ray Home Theater System:
We purchased this Blu-ray home theater system for our main living room. It was very simple to set up and has greatly enhanced our entertainment quality. My two kids, 8 & 11, no longer ask to go to the movies, they want to watch all our old movies again with the up conversion this unit provides.

Comments about Panasonic SC-BT300 Blu-ray Home Theater System:
The system was easy to set up. Very easy to operate. It charges the iPod, while playing. The only negative is unlike the SC-BT300PX being sold at the military PX, this does not have the 220v option.

Comments about Panasonic SC-BT300 Blu-ray Home Theater System:
What I like most about this system is that it is compact and does almost anything one would want it to do, FM/AM radio, plays almost every disk out there, easy to connect speakers (with wiring included), HDMI output, two optical audio inputs. There is only one RCA audio input though, so we could not connect all the components that we have to it (had to go direct to the TV). It sounds great! The sound reproduction seems accurate to me (although I have nothing to compare it to). It sounds as I expected it to sound, separating the front from the back and the sides. There is some customization available, although the screen is so small that you likely have to use the TV as a display to make sense of it all. The bass gets choppy once you get to a certain high volume, which I was disappointed about. The wiring is white, so it would only blend if everything around it is white. In our case, I am going to have to get creative to get hide them. There is an option to get wireless connections (although not truly wireless, from what I have read), but it costs about one hundred for each pair. That makes this very affordable solution a lot less desirable. It is fast in loading the Bluray discs. It has worked with no problems at all for the two weeks I have had it. I would easily have to spend double this if I wanted this performance with a component system, and that would start to get cluttered really quickly.

Comments about Panasonic SC-BT300 Blu-ray Home Theater System:
Pretty easy to setup. I didn't use the voice setup because I thought it was unnecessary. The paper instructions are pretty self-explanatory, you just have to be smarter than the product. You can set the bass level between 1-4. It also has different variations of sound, i.e standard, flat etc. Its definitely worth every penny.

Good product with very easy setup. Good integration with panasonic TV which is the reason I bought this unit. Not exactly as intuitive as I had hoped but still very functional.
Comments about Panasonic SC-BT300 Blu-ray Home Theater System:
I shopped around extensively for a sound system. Finally decided on the Panasonic for it's versatility and features. I would advise to read the manual for hooking it up. There are still a few features I have yet to try but for now my movies sound great and TV is wonderful....A+++
