As with all Tungsten, it runs very hot--make sure if you pair this with the correct temperature softboxes if that is your intended use.

I use this lamp for interviews in low light with a Lowel Omni. This lamp consistently lasts me up to 400 hours. For how long it lasts it's very economical.

A great lamp for video/photo, but you must have extras! like all lamps, they go. and when they go, it's better to be safe then sorry. where your whole shoot is postponed because of a single lamp.

I have now had 2 of these bulbs burn out within 1 to 2 hours of use. I always protect the bulb from fingers when replacing, so I don't understand why this is happening.

Replacing the ftk bulb was so easy for the lowel omni. Pop one out put the other in and it's working great. This bulb has great longevity and has a good range. They do run a little hot so make sure you give enough time to cool down before you pack up.
