Works well for my casual photography...wish the cord fit more snug into the shutter release itself...seems a little loose.

Short cord works OK but when attach extension nothing happens. Price was right so will keep.

I didn't realize how important a shutter release was until I got mine. I was using the timer on the camera, but the remote release makes things a lot quicker. The only thing I don't like about it is that if you happen to push the button a little too hard, it can get stuck, but it will release if you push it again. For [$] though, great buy!

It's fairly simple - just plug it into your camera and press the button. Before, I had gotten a cheap knock-off brand, and it didn't even do that so I had to return it.

I've tried many other off-brands for a decent remote but I always come back to the original. I recently had one of these hanging out of the car driving down the highway and it worked perfectly afterwards....

I use this shutter release for night photography...and it works perfectly. No problems whatsoever, works very well. The only nitpick I have about it is that it's all plastic, so it does feel cheap, but that really isn't a big deal at all.
