Sachtler 1060 DV-10SB SpeedBalance Aluminum Tripod System
The Sachtler 1060 DV-10SB Aluminum Tripod System includes the DV-10SB fluid head with 12-step counterbalance and Touch & Go quick release. It also includes the DA-100L Aluminum Tripod, floor spreader and carry cover. This system offers cine support system capabilities with a 26.5 lbs capacity.
- Fluid Head
- The Sachtler DV-10SB is the SpeedBalance fluid head featuring 12 counterbalance presets greatly reducing setup time. Similar to larger Cine fluid heads, it has self-illuminated Touch Bubbles for leveling with the 100mm half-ball base.
- Tripod Legs
- The DA-100 L one stage dural aluminum ENG tripod, features a 100 mm / 4" bowl, tube diameter of 16mm (0.63") and is fitted with the Sachtler rotary clamping system.
- Floor Spreader
- This system comes with the SP 100 floor spreader for flat surface production applications.

Great tripod! Everything is laid out intuitively, easily adjusted drag, hight adjustment, and rock steady lockdown. That said, this tripod was not designed to be the swiss-army knife of tripods. If you are looking for a pair of sticks to be used for interviews, press conferences, or relatively stationary setup gigs, then the DV-10SB is the tool to use.I've used this, or the DV-12 for ENG shooting for the past three years. While it's weight and size do not make it the ideal tripod for run-n-gun shooting, it can take the beating. [...]
