This Kata bag is a great bag at an excellent cost.
The bag is surprisingly small and compact, yet was able to hold my Sony A200, Minolta 70-210mm, Minolta 50mm, Minolta 20mm lens, and external flash comfortably. I was also able to fit all other misc. stuff (extra battery, memory card, straps, usb cables e.t.c). The inside of the bag is compartmentalized by thick velcro straps and can be moved/adjusted/configured however you like.
The design is brilliant and exactly as the website shows. I usually have the 70-210mm lens attached to my cam and this fits easily in the center console for quick access. I have the 50mm and 20mm in one compartment, flash and other accessories in the other. There's a battery and memory card holder in an external pocket, as well as a phone pocket on the strap.
The padding of the bag is also a major plus. The bag is padded in all the right areas to prevent damage to the bag and your stuff. The straps are also comfortable, and the bonus 'rain cover' for the bag is also a good addition. The bag seems very well built and durable.
Only con with this bag is that it does not come with instructions on how to set it up properly. But a quick look at the website and how it is positioned on the model will steer you in the right direction.
Overall, perfect bag for outdoors or sports events where you need quick, easy access and lightweight portability. Forget those backpacks.

Totally disapointed with this bag. It is represented as adequate for a 70-200mm lens. IT DOES NOT FIT the NIKON 70-200mm whcih was my planned use, coupled with a D-200 body.
Secondly, the strap ergonomics are terrible in my opinion...it rides on my neck rather than shoulder and no amount of adjusting will fix this.
On the positive side, the quality of construction is great.
I have other KATA bags that are wonderful.

Comments about Kata DT-213 Digital Torso-Pack Sling Case:
Went into B&H to buy a LowePro bag based on reputation and selection, and came out with something much more useable and better designed.
Bag fits my 5Dii & 70-200 f/4 IS and still has room to spare for my 17-40 and other small goodies.
Very happy.

Comments about Kata DT-213 Digital Torso-Pack Sling Case:
I bought this bag to carry my Nikon D700 with the 70-200VR lens attached. This combination does not fit in the bag. The camera with the lens attached is too long to fit in the bag. Also with the MB10 vertical grip attached the bag is not wide enough and closing the bag is very difficult. On the plus side the camera bag is very well constructed and a great bargain for it's price.

I arrived in Boston yesterday. Pulling two bags from the airport and helping my wife with our child and his stroller and I didn't have to worry about my camera. I had my new Kata 213 sling which held my camera comfortably to my torso. It didn't swing around and didn't cause any discomfort. My camera was in place to be grabbed quickly for when i saw something i wanted to take a pic of. I would recommend this bag to anyone. My sister-in-law was so impressed with it she is going to buy one herself.
