The GT3330 Series-3 Aluminum Tripod with G-Lock utilizes aluminum tubing that provides a high maximum load capacity with outstanding torsional rigidity and G-lock adds to stability. It is a superior general-use support for nearly all camera types and formats as its maximum capacity is nearly 40 lbs. Thankfully, to bear such heavy weights, this tripod does not have to make use of thick, unwieldy and heavyweight tubing and weighs in at only 7.1 lbs.
The GT3330 is a standard height tripod that is part of the Series 3 range. It is ideal for use with professional equipment, medium & large format cameras, and SLRs with an up to 400mm maximum lens attached.
Gitzo Series 3 tripods offer a unique ultra-wide top platform that guarantees an incredibly stable base for any professional high performance equipment. This platform can be removed and replaced with other accessories, making this a fully customizable system.

Comments about Gitzo GT3330 Series-3 Aluminum Tripod 3-Section w/G-Lock:
Very well built; maximum height (with column down) is perfect. Supports both 35mm and medium format with complete confidence (doesn't feel rickety the least bit like other tripods I've tried); used for indoor and outdoor projects—mostly portraiture and landscape. Very easy to adjust. Some may complain about the weight; it doesn't bother me at all. I don't venture too far with it, anyway. It's not meant to be a trekking tripod. Paired with Gitzo 2271M pan-tilt head. Pricey compared to other brands, but definitely worth it. It'll last a lifetime.
