Avenger A2033LCB Century "C" Stand with Sliding Leg, Black - 10.75' (3.25 m)
This is an Avenger A2033LCB Century Stand with Sliding Leg. The stand rises to a maximum height of 10.75' (3.25 m). It has one sliding leg that can change height independently. This feature enables safe and stable use of the stand on stairs or other uneven surfaces.
This Century Stand has a black painted finish. The leg design provides a very low center of gravity and makes it easy to bury in the soil or sand, or accept sandbags for extra stability. It is durable and designed to collapse flat for easy transport and storage. It has 3 sections, 2 risers. The first riser measures 30" (76.2cm).
This stand replaces old catalog #215SBC.

This is a very solidly-built light stand with a leveling-leg that allows it to be used on uneven terrain such as steps or outdoors. The wide footprint of its legs makes it exceptionally stable, even at its full 10.75' extended height. This stand will support fairly heavy lights with confidence. The reason I have given this stand just 3 stars instead of 5 is because it is VERY heavy for an old guy like me to be hefting around very much.

Was looking for a solid stand to replace my PCB stand that was broken. Wanted something sturdy that could support the avenger d600 mini boom.
I also liked the idea that it has a sliding leg for uneven terrain as I do lots of location work.
Overall, very happy. Money well spent

I used to own Matthews stands and accessories. When I closed my business I sold everything. Now that I'm rebuilding I'm buying Avenger. This stand is as durable as any Matthews. The gloss black finish is very professional looking and very strong. The description read "black painted chrome" and that scared me, but if it is painted over chrome you'd never know. It looks and feels like black-colored metal - like any other black grip equipment. I find the stand to be heavy enough (and legs spread enough) that with soft box I don't need sand bags - but always a good idea. Best product at the best price!
