Avenger A0030B Alu-Baby Light Stand (Black)
This Avenger A0030B Baby Alu Stand is a black aluminum light stand that features an adjustable "lazy" leveling leg which can slide out and lock to level the light stand on uneven terrain such as hillsides or stairs.
The A0030B rises to a maximum height of 8.8' (2.7 m). It was formerly known as #A400B.

First off, this is bulkier than I thought from the picture. That turns out to be a good thing. This stand is as strong as a C stand and goes as high. The plus is the lazy leg. I bought it for that. I do a lot of outdoor location lighting and needed something for uneven terrain. Seems to be bomb proof. I'll have this for years. Four stars because perhaps it could be a tad lighter. Don't forget a sandbag for outdoor use.

We use it with Elinchrom Rangers outdoors with Maxilite and Deep Octas , works fantastically. Leveling leg comes in handy too. Nothing like the cheap Alienbee[*] stands. Avenger quality throughout.
