The Kodak Zx1 Pocket Video Camera (Blue) is an easy to use, go anywhere camcorder for the YouTuber in your life. Resistant to water, dirt, and most other perilous substances, the Zx1 is an excellent choice for recording at the beach or on the slopes, not to mention pretty much everywhere in-between. Choose your capture mode: 720p HD video in 60 or 30fps (16:9) or VGA for standard definition recording. The Zx1 doesn't just take video though, you can also take 3MP stills. The included HDMI cable lets you share all the action on your HDTV with friends and family, while the included software lets you upload your footage to YouTube (PC only) with just a touch. The included software also lets you create your own video mash-ups with music and still pictures as well as grabbing still clips from video.

- The Zx1 records in 720p HD at both 60 frames per second and 30fps, for rich, detailed video on your HDTV and for viewing on compatible social media sites. You can also choose VGA (640 x 480) recording for networking sites that do not upload HD video

- Save your video clips to either the 128MB internal flash memory or add an optional SD/SDHC memory card (up to 32GB) and expand your storage up to 10 hours when recording in HD

I use it to video my kids and is very easy to tote around with you, and easy to use. It is MAC compatible (iMovie). Perfect for the price I paid.

ZX1 is easy to use and navigate, very good quality outdoors during day light. Have used it at my sons basketball game and it wasn't that bad. Need good lighting when in the house taking video of my grandson. I don't take pictures with it I have a digital SLR camera. Wish it had a wider lenses shot. Sometimes I have to back up to get someone in a picture if we are in a small room. My daugher likes to borrow it to take pictures of her son when they go places, she loves the size of it.

We use it to record our travels and activities.
It is very compact and easy to carry, fast to operate, and unobtrusive. Uploading video is easy. The quality is better than we expected.
I'm an older guy, and I need to put on my readers to interpret the icons on the otherwise big enough display. I wish the icons were easier to read.

Great for beginning video students. Middle school to early high school. Also, great for teachers to take video in class for class reflections or lesson documenting. Shoots Final Cut ready video that drag/drops into the browser /timeline but audio will need a render. Camera comes with AA rechargeable batteries. Video and audio quality are not great,but will do for certain projects.

I own several large MiniDV cameras, but needed something small to use at a minute's notice, be it at home or the office. So far, it's been used at home with the grandchildren with excellent results due to it's small size. They don't notice they're being filmed.
