The Kodak Zx1 Pocket Video Camera (Red) is an easy to use, go anywhere camcorder for the YouTuber in your life. Resistant to water, dirt, and most other perilous substances, the Zx1 is an excellent choice for recording at the beach or on the slopes, not to mention pretty much everywhere in-between. Choose your capture mode: 720p HD video in 60 or 30fps (16:9) or VGA for standard definition recording. The Zx1 doesn't just take video though, you can also take 3MP stills. The included HDMI cable lets you share all the action on your HDTV with friends and family, while the included software lets you upload your footage to YouTube (PC only) with just a touch. The included software also lets you create your own video mash-ups with music and still pictures as well as grabbing still clips from video.

- The Zx1 records in 720p HD at both 60 frames per second and 30fps, for rich, detailed video on your HDTV and for viewing on compatible social media sites. You can also choose VGA (640 x 480) recording for networking sites that do not upload HD video
- Flash Memory Storage
- Save your video clips to either the 128MB internal flash memory or add an optional SD/SDHC memory card (up to 32GB) and expand your storage up to 10 hours when recording in HD
- 1/4.5" 1.6MP CMOS Sensor
- The 1.6MP CMOS sensor not only provides you with stunning HD footage, it also gives you the option to shoot 3MP digital (interpolated) stills, making the Zx1 the only camera you need when you're out and about

Wowzers! Got this for a mere [$] of them...lol. We needed them for Testimonials for future infomercials. The quality is most excellent for it's price and simplicity. My only beef is the lack of flash for stills thats why i gave it 4 Stars.

Great for simple vids. Fast and simple.
Dont try to get artistic with this, the zoom isnt great and the colors arent as vivid.
There is a constant whine during playback, which doesnt matter when recording yourselves BMXing.
Camera feels solid and has a good weight to it.
Look at the camera lens, thats the perfect size for a big fat thumbprint.

Bought this for my daughter's 8th birthday. She wanted a digital camera but I thought this would make her happier. She loves the color and the change of the faceplate for the battery. The camcorder is durable and weather resistant. I did not have a chance to sample the product first hand. I was very happy with its appearance. It includes rechargeable batteries that seem to last about an hour. Compared to a flip, this is was a much better buy. Something that will hold up when taken to the beach. No worries about sand getting in the ports. The only slight disappointment is the digital camera aspect and the short battery life of alkaline batteries(not the rechargeable). It is hard to take a non blurry picture when the subject is in motion. I guess that is a result of not having a shutter. Overall, I rate this product very good!
