The iMac sports a sleek aluminum and glass industrial design, with a matching slimline aluminum keyboard. The built-in iSight camera hides discreetly above the LCD screen, giving you ready access to a webcam for Internet chat and conferencing. The included iChat and Photo Booth applications allow you to chat online and take fun self-portraits with the camera.
The computer is powered by a 3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor for superior performance. It boasts 4GB of RAM, a 1TB hard drive, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, Airport Extreme Wi-Fi, integrated speakers, and the SuperDrive DVD burner. The glossy 24" widescreen display is powered by ATI Radeon HD 4850 graphics with 512MB of GDDR3 memory.
All this hardware runs on Apple's Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard operating system. The OS features Time Machine backup, which automatically backs up system data to an external hard drive. It also features intuitive Cover Flow navigation, the powerful Spotlight search tool, and Quick Look document preview.

Completely great system. I was going to purchase a Mac Pro but then I decided that a all-in-one iMac would be a better/more compact system, because I needed a computer for college. This computer can handle all of the newest games with higher settings and all Apple applications including: iLife, iWork, Final Cut HD, Adobe Suite 4. The 24" screen is amazing, with its crisp 1920x1200 resolution. And with its 1TB hard drive there is plenty of storage for all my movies, work, etc. The price was amazing too! Thank you B&H Photo!

Couldn't afford a Mac Pro. So this was the next best thing. Its fast, has a huge hard drive and I set it up in like 30 seconds. I'm a pro photographer and videographer and this machine was made for me. I can be rendering videos, listening to music and surfing the web and this thing doesn't blink!

I was originally considering a MacPro, but the cost and size and whatever else, were all somewhat intimidating. Then I saw a review about the latest iMac which actually showed that in many tests, the iMac was faster than the MacPro. For a fraction of the price, I could own a very cool-looking, high performance Mac with an amazing screen. Sold[...] my shiny new iMac, I have been delighted to turn it on every day. It was SO easy to migrate all my apps and data from an older PowerBook to the iMac and apart from a few additional, required software upgrades, the iMac was an immediate and substantial improvement for all my business needs.The performance is amazing - I use Photoshop, Final Cut, Illustrator, Sonicfire, and a bunch of web-based applications. My productivity has increased drastically thanks to the iMac's faster processors and 4Gb of RAM. Start-up and shut down are just as surprisingly fast.My wife has been eyeing the iMac and, I know, wants one - her birthday is coming soon...Thoroughly recommended!
