Comments about APC Back-UPS XS 1300VA LCD 120V:
This is my second UPS of this same model. The major feature I like about this thing is the abilty on the LCD display to see how much load your useing, wattage, estimated battery runtime and shows you how many power events you had.
The first one I had like this went bad and it was an internal board not batteries. I bought new batteries and it still would not work. Talked with APC and they told me the error code that the LCD was showing me meant it was bad and recommend buying a new one, it lasted for about 3 years. I hope that was a fluke because I like everything about this thing because I bought another, hope it last. I've always used APC and bought a ton of these and I've only had problems with two out of 10. This is an excellent price for the quality of this product.

Comments about APC Back-UPS XS 1300VA LCD 120V:
I bought this UPS on the advice of a network administrator friend, and I feel really happy with the purchase. The price is reasonable[...]What's great is the set-up guide/user manual that explains the features of the excellent front LCD display. There's also some software to help shut down the computer in the event of a power outage, which was really easy to install and set up. I feel that if I ever encounter a power issue, the UPS will enable me to diagnose the issue while safeguarding my system, and that extra information makes me more confident and comfortable in using my computer. The downside, if you would consider it as such, is the heaviness of the battery. I found it slightly awkward to connect the wires during set-up, but managed to quickly get everything assembled. Of course a compact battery must be heavy, so I feel it's an even trade-off and the entire UPS case is efficiently designed.
