I use this cord to position my slave flash away from my camera for large objects like vehicles and buildings. It is more positive triggering of slave flash than the optical slave triggers I use because of the distance.

Connections to High voltage safe sync appear to be good. Some of the older meters colour, light meters vary.
I use the cable to trip off camera flash so I can save the radio slaves.
The flexibility of the wire decreases with temperature. I found that even at 6 degrees C or around 40 degrees F that it became more difficult to roll up and in general use easily. It still works to trip the flash just more difficult to use.
