Comments about Roland UM-1G - USB MIDI Interface:

I used it to connect a laptop to a midi patch bay for live performance. It installed easy and is very compact. The problem was that midi files which played perfect on the old interface didn't play well with this unit. The patch changes were off on many of the files. All files were the same ones as on the old computer. I just dragged and dropped the folder of files in the new computer.

Comments about Roland UM-1G - USB MIDI Interface:

I had doubts this would connect my old Yamaha psr-300m Electronic Keyboard(witch has to be over 15 years old) to my computer, and use it with music creator 5. But I was surprised at how easy and fast it connected and worked!
I recommend the UM-1G to anyone using any midi input/output product.
