This Sigma AV2900 Viewfinder is for the Sigma DP2 digital camera. This externally attached optical viewfinder approximates the view of the camera's 24.2mm F2.8 lens. The lens is equivalent to a 41mm lens on a 35mm SLR camera.

I bought a DP2 as a quality travel camera, and the viewfinder makes it much easier to compose shots, especially in bright sunlight. With the viewfinder you can take advantage of the DP2 viewfinder display mode to show you the camera settings but not the image itself. Very useful for fast street shooting.Only disadvantage is it has to be removed to fit the top of the leather case on.
