Roland UM-3G - USB MIDI Interface
The UM-3G from Cakewalk is a portable and expandable, 3 input/3 output USB MIDI Interface designed for easy connection of a computer to multiple MIDI devices. The unit features a captive USB cable.
Up to 3 UM-3G interfaces can be connected together while still using only a single USB port. That functionality and independent MIDI Out/Thru switches for each MIDI port make the UM-3G a perfect MIDI solution for the small studio or live performance as the respective needs grow.
- 3 input/3 output, portable MIDI interface providing 48-channels of MIDI I/O for control of MIDI hardware and software
- Expandable design allows for daisy-chaining up to 3 UM-3G interfaces providing 9 total MIDI inputs and outputs without the need for additional USB ports
- Advanced Driver mode uses FPT (Fast Processing Technology) to ensure low-latency throughput, even with 3 UM-3G interfaces daisy-chained together
- Up to 3 units can be rack mounted using the optional Roland RAF-70 kit
- Ideal MIDI interface for the mid- to larger-sized studio
- MIDI Out or Thru selectable using built-in switches for each output
