The Panasonic Wired IP Network Camera with 10x digital zoom offers a maximum resolution of 640 x 480 and streams MPEG-4 and JPEG images simultaneously. Designed for easy plug and play operation, the camera allows full screen monitoring of your home/office over the internet or via cell phones.
The camera lens has a focal range from 0.3m to ∞ and features motion detection. The built-in microphone allows the operator to hear sounds from the camera's vicinity and the external input connector accepts door/window and motion sensors. SSL encryption provides enhanced security for video streams across the network or internet.
- Image Capture, Quality, and Zoom
- A ¼" CMOS sensor simultaneously transmits real-time, high frame-rate (up to 30fps) images with a resolution of 640 x 480 in both MPEG-4 and JPEG formats. The wired camera has 10x digital zoom and offers a viewing angle of 58° (H) and 45° (V). While MPEG-4 compression enables seamless transmission of video over a network, MJPEG compression offer high quality images which are useful when surveillance footage is required as evidence data in legal cases.
- Lens and Light Intensity
- Lens focal length ranges from 0.3m to ∞; captures clear images in color mode at 5 to 10,000 Lux and black & white mode at 3 to 10,000 Lux. The Color Night View Mode provides clear images in low light conditions.
- 1-way Communication
- With a built-in microphone, you can listen to sounds in the vicinity of the camera from the operator's station.
- Built-in Web Server/Remote Access
- Video can be viewed over a LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network) or via the internet; the video can also be viewed on a cell phone.
- Multi-camera view
- Up to 12 cameras can be displayed on a single screen without any additional software required.
- Motion Detection
- The current image in the camera's frame-of-view is continuously compared to a reference image to trigger an alarm if motion is detected, in which case an alert e-mail is sent with the alarm image being optionally attached or a sound is emitted from the monitoring PC.
- External I/O interface
- Connect the camera to devices such as sensors (door or window sensors) and the motion detector to trigger an alarm when an event occurs.
- User ID / Password Authentication / SSL
- Password-protected IDs restrict unauthorized use, while the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) prevents electronic eavesdropping and offers additional security by encrypting the data.
- Network Port
- A 10Base-T/100Base-TX network interface and an RJ-45 socket facilitate remote monitoring.
- PoE (Power over Ethernet)
- Power over Ethernet allows the camera to receive power from the network without any extra wiring or power outlets and makes for cost-saving installations.
