Comments about Beyerdynamic DT 770 Premium Closed-Back Stereo Studio Headphones (32 Ohms):
These headphones are made for music that has been compressed for use on iPods and personal computers. Good range, high quality, built to last.
The only negative is that they are a bit heavy. But, they are comfortable on my head.

Comments about Beyerdynamic DT 770 Premium Closed-Back Stereo Studio Headphones (32 Ohms):
I have used many professional and high end headphones before. I ordered these in the 32 ohm format so that they could be used with my Ipod as I already had some nice AKG headphones in a higher ohm format for recording and live performance behind my drum kit. While these headphones were purchased to replace my Beats by Dre headphones I had been using for Ipod listening I have been so impressed with them that I not only consider them a replacement, but an upgrade from the much over hyped Beats headphones. If I were to give any negative mark on these headphones it would be that their cord is rather long and that there is no quick change to a shorter cord. The long cord can also be a plus though, so I am not giving a negative mark on that.

Comments about Beyerdynamic DT 770 Premium Closed-Back Stereo Studio Headphones (32 Ohms):
These have absolutely great sound. It is definitely worth the time to break them in, the highs and lows become more crisp. They are extremely comfortable, and seem to be quite durable as well. Although they are a little bulky, they aren't a problem to wear around; I use them with my mp3 player all the time, the only downside is stuffing the extra cable length in a pocket. I have zero complaints and would recommend these to anyone.

Comments about Beyerdynamic DT 770 Premium Closed-Back Stereo Studio Headphones (32 Ohms):
I mainly listen to CD's played by a California Audio Labs DX-1 through a [...] Audio Class A headphone amp. The DT 770 has as much bass as my Audio Technica M-50 does, and that bass sounds fuller and cleaner to me. The midrange and treble are much better than the M-50, but not quite as good as my AKG 702, which has the best in the industry midrange. If I could not afford all three headphones, I would have to choose the DT 770 for it's overall sound as the K 702 is not near as good with bass as the DT 770.
