I'm a newcomer in the audiophile world, I bought these to upgrade from a pair of Monsters Jamz. What hit me the most was the sound clarity. You will hear sounds you had never heard before. Bass is just at the right amount for my taste. Some mid to high sometime get fuzzy mostly will listening to techno/electronic sound (for example: Tron Legacy soundtrack doesn't sound good at all on my DT990) while classical, pop and jazz sound fantastic. Very good for films and videos (netflix, youtube). I used them mostly on my Ipad; the 32 ohms are very easy to drive, setting my Ipad at third or half of the volume is generally enough loud depending on the recording. I think the 250ohms would play just fine with the Ipad at full volume. After roughly 90-100 hours of use, they "break-in", the sound clarity was still perfect and the sound obviously got warmer, which to me was even better. Build quality is very high, durability should be very good. I feel almost nothing around my head wearing them. Very nice carrying bag. At B&H discount price, this is a no-brainer. And now that B&H offer Purolator delivery with prepaid customs for Canada, this is just perfect!
