Comments about Custom Brackets Folding-S Bracket:
Great for the smaller DSLR user who wants to up their event/wedding shoots, or for other non-slr digitals that have shoe mounts. Very sturdy and folds up slim. On my D60 with an SB-600 and SC-29 sync cord, it raised the flash head approximately 6 inches compared to the flash mounted directly to the D60's hot shoe. Used the rig with diffuser dome at a charity cocktail reception and award dinner. Worked like a charm. Easily springs around for vertical shots. Greatly improved flash glare off eye glasses and shiny skin. Also a good product for using larger focal lengths with lens hoods.

Comments about Custom Brackets Folding-S Bracket:
This flash bracket quickly swings around to put the flash above the camera in both a horizontal and vertical orientation. It is well made and sturdy. I like how it folds up for storage in my camera bag. It is aluminum and a reasonable weight but I still wish it were a bit lighter.

First time I have used a bracket and I am generally pleased. The quick fold to take portrait shots worked well. The flash loosened up a little after a while and I had to rescuer it. Perhaps I need to tighten the screws that are designed to stop that. I liked the feel and all in all I am a happy camper.

Bracket is a good design. Locking mech's. are sturdy
however the flash bar should lock when flipping it over to take a vertical picture. I like the small compact size when folded up completely.

Comments about Custom Brackets Folding-S Bracket:
I have used this bracket only a few times, but it does the job so far. I am using it with a D90 camera,a SB-600 flash, and a SC-28 cord. No camera battery pack, or anything like that.
On the plus side: Made in the U.S., folds up neatly, light-weight, seems to be sturdy-time will tell.
On the downside: Haven't tried it on any camera besides a D90, may not work too good with a battery pack but I don't own one, need to buy a SC-28 or equivalent cord which will set you back some unless you can rig up a PC cord.

I'm using it with my Lumix and Leica cameras. Nicely made out of anodized aluminum with brass inserts. Folds up very small, so it can be put in my bag. Very smooth and light.
Raises the flash up a bit higher than my Olympus FL-BK01 Bracket.

Comments about Custom Brackets Folding-S Bracket:
Purchased this product for off-camera flast use. Perfect for that. Previously considered The Right Stuff bracket, which was sturdy but very expensive. Believe that this bracket is just as appropriate for my needs. Can not complain about workmanship or sturdiness. Fits nicely into my camera bag. Easy switching from horizontal to verticle format.

Love love love this bracket. Great price. Sturdy.
Only thing - anti-twist should be standard and included instead of a separate option.

Very solid product and well made. Great accessory to have for close-up shots and portraits.
Wish strobe mount can be locked in vertical position, not a complain but a feature that would make this product even better.

Comments about Custom Brackets Folding-S Bracket:
The great design and excellent machining of this bracket, plus the fact it folds compactly, make this an excellent bracket choice for the digital camera without extra-battery compartment or attachment. Used with a hot-shoe extension off-camera cable and a hotshoe flash unit, with or without diffuser device, results are always super.
