This Impact Diffuser Sock is a heat-resistant (*), 18" nylon fabric light softener ringed with strong elastic for a snug fit around metal strobe head reflectors. The diffuser softens the light output and reduces it by 1 stop.
Diffuser Socks are stackable, offering the opportunity to increase the diffusion effect while reducing the light output. Additionally, gel filters, cut to size, can be placed between stacked Diffuser Socks for creative applications.

The diffuser socks fit perfectly on my Impact Daylight Floodlights. Much better than taping old undershirts to diffuse the light. Should have bought them a long time ago!

I built my own beauty light which has an 18" front. This diffuser fit perfectly and softened the light to give me the options I wanted. There isn't anything complicated about a diffusion sock but this fit the bill.
