Product is well made however I was under the impression it was specifically designed for the GY-HM750. There seems to be a lot of "slop room" with the camera inside. Some of that space could have been used for extra pockets, for mics and audio cables.

It's from Porta-Brace, so it is a quality product. However, it just isn't as fitted to my camera as I would like. The zipper-across-the-top means the case doesn't open quite wide enough to get the camera in and out without scraping it along a zippered edge. Also, there's only one adjustable pad in the bottom, making it impossible to secure the camera from sliding around inside the case.

This bag is very comfortable and easy to carry with the shoulder straps mounted on opposing sides. It fits the GY-HM700u very nicely with a bigger shotgun mic and dead cat windscreen attached, and also with a wireless mic system attached.
It's got a great compliment of pockets, and comes equipped with a white balance card.
The only thing I would add to the case would be a velcro strap inside to hold batteries still since they shouldn't be left mounted to the camera when not in use. That's a modification I may make myself.
I'm also a big fan of the black with red lettering... :-)

This case is brilliantly designed to make carrying around a large camera a breeze. Most cases I've come across are too bulky or require the camera to be disassembled, leading to possible issues with back focus, scratched lens etc. - very difficult to deal with in the field when you need to work fast. This bag provides adequate protection and ample room to carry numerous other accessaries. Perhaps not suitable for long distance travel, but for filming on the go, I can't imagine how it could get any better.

This JVC specific case replaced our first attempt of finding a suitable camera bag.

I'm extremely please with this travel case, made by Porta Brace. It's very lightweight, even with the camera in it.. plus with the shoulder strap it makes carrying a breeze. The case includes several pockets for carrying manuals, SD cards or anything else you might need to take with you. I definetly recommend this product.
