With its continued excellence in HD imagery and sound, Pioneer enters the ring with its BDP-320 Blu-ray Disc Player. With BD-Live Ready (Profile 2.0), HDMI (v 1.3a) output with x.v.Color and 48-bit Deep Color processing, 1080p video upconversion, and Full 1080/24p True Cinema video output, it brings your HD movie theater experience to a whole new level, without breaking the bank. This versatile player offers the ability to play back all of your favorite DVDs and CDs in high-resolution. Also, enjoy the awesome power of Wolfson audio DACs with Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, and DTS-HD Master Audio processing, for a wider, more enveloping 7.1-channel surround sound experience. DTS-HD Master Audio decoding realizes distinct cinematic surround sounds intended by the master soundtrack studio editor.
Moreover, this powerful player presents superb functionality that will be hard to match. Its advanced video processing technology utilizes both Picture Control Suite and Triple High-Definition NR circuitry to reproduce one of the cleanest HD video signals in the market. Pioneer exclusives like Precision Quartz Lock System (PQLS) digitally reshapes the audio waveform, thus eliminating any jitter in the audio signal. Enjoy its picture-in-picture BonusView Support for independent HD simultaneous video streaming; it enables you to view your favorite Blu-ray disc movies while simultaneously watching the bonus content at the same time.
With connectivity to multiple A/V components, KURO Link control, SR+ control, advanced HD Graphic User Interface (GUI), 7.1-channel discrete output, AVC-HD media compatibility, USB port, 1GB internal memory, and playback capabilities to a slew of video and audio formats, your entertainment choices are endless with the Pioneer BDP-320. Also, its slim chassis and stylish gloss black finish is sure to complement your room's decor.
And its Triple High-Definition NR features component frame NR, which lowers unwanted Gaussian noise; Block NR minimizes mosaic-like (block) artifacts, and Mosquito NR reduces fluttery-type noise that dances around the edge of a subject.

Comments about Pioneer BDP-320 Blu-ray Disc Player:
THIS IS A GREAT UNIT IF YOU ARE INTO BIG SOUND IN MOVIES . VIDEO QUALITY IS EXCELLENT BUT WHAT I REALLY APPRECIATE IS THE SOUND WHEN YOU HAVE A GOOD RECEIVER AND NICE SPEAKERS.I HAVE A PANASONIC BLUE RAY BUT THE PIONEER EXCEED THE SOUND QUALITY. THE BURR BROWN DIGITAL SOUND GIVES THE OPTIMUN SOUND. DOWNLOADING UPDATES FROM THE INTERNET IT'S FAST AND EASY BUT THE START UP LOADING AGAIN IT'S SLOW .

Comments about Pioneer BDP-320 Blu-ray Disc Player:
I bought this after a frustrating year with a Samsung BDP 3600, which was terribly unreliable and required frequent re-booting (un-plugging). This player is clearly in another league as the performance has been flawless both in picture and sound as well as software and overall build quality. Needless to say the problems that plagued the Samsung have been nonexistent with the Pioneer.
Some have complained that its slow to load and start playing, but to me there isn't much difference, and I would rather wait a few more seconds and get a much better viewing experience.
The only downside compared to some other players is that there is no Netflix streaming, but I don't miss it as I do that now on my Wii.

This Pioneer blu-ray player is the best one. It offers the best picture quality within it price range and it has an option to make the image even better with its built in picture adjustments. The analog audio outputs sound quality is excellent especially listening to audio cd. This player has slower loading times than its competition, but it is worth the wait due doing its excellent picture quality. This blu-ray player also looks good and has very good build quality.

Comments about Pioneer BDP-320 Blu-ray Disc Player:
The picture and sound are really fabulous from this player. I bought this unit because of the analog hook up to my pioneer receiver. I have not watched more than 3 movies so far with this unit but I am totally satisfied thus far. Yes it takes longer to load a disc for viewing but that is not enough to discourage me. Hook up was slightly confusing because the player said my tv did not accept a 1080i @ 60hz. I chose that setting any way and it all worked out. I would definitely recommend this player to others.

Comments about Pioneer BDP-320 Blu-ray Disc Player:
I connected this BD player to my Pioneer VSX-1019 receiver. All of my components except for my LCD TV are Pioneer. It has great compatibility with my receiver's remote and the picture is great. The only two complaints I have are: 1) How slowly the BD player starts up with a disc inserted and 2) The lack of a wireless interface to the internet. Otherwise, it has great features. I have it connected to my high-speed internet router via a wired RJ-45 connection which allowed it to update its firmware when I selected for it to do a software update.

Comments about Pioneer BDP-320 Blu-ray Disc Player:
I have Pioneer's BDP-320 connected to a Harmon Kardon AVR 635, pushing Bose 701's w/bose surrounds. Picture is via a Panasonic Viera TH-42PX75U.
First impression-picture: The difference in picture quality between the BDP-320 and my former Harmon Kardon DVD-50 was not as significant as expected when viewing standard DVD's and this suprised me. In general though the 320 is excellent in reproducing color and detail and offers plenty of tuning options for varying set ups. Of course blue-ray disc playback is exceptional.
First impression-audio: WOW! Quite suprised at the improvement of audio of the 320 over the DVD-50. Base extension was greater and more refined, mids good and the highs not as harsh all contributing to a warmer presentation. Also, the surround field is more refined and surround sounds seem more distinctly placed. Can't wait to hear how things sound through a decent set of speakers.
Overal all: My first blu-ray player and i'm pleased. The player performs very well, offers BD live, set up menus are intuitive and connectivity is great.
