Comments about Bowens The Gimlet by Crumpler Bag:
I bought the Gimlet to carry two lights, two light stands, 2 portable softboxes and related cords and accessories. It almost fits, but the lightstands don't fit in the long outside pockets so I shove them in there the best I can and leave then sticking out on the end.
The yellow interior is great for visibility and the main compartment is perfect for light heads.
It seems to be really well made, I just wish the outer pockets could actually hold a light stand.

Comments about Bowens The Gimlet by Crumpler Bag:
The Gimlet by Crumpler for Bowens allows me to wheel my Bowens Gemini Pro Monolights around New York with ease.
One can immediately tell a tremendous amount of thought went into the design of this bag. Not only does it boast thick, chunky wheels, but also both bottom and top handles -- clearly focused on ease of transportation no matter what you may encounter. I've carried mine up and down staircases of New York apartments, wheeled it through streets/parks and even transported via MTA trains.
In addition, the inner compartments are adjustable, but easily fit a a two head Bowens monolight kit (at least up to the Gemini 750 Pro lights I shoot with).
Finally, the back is both covered in the same rubber material used in basketballs and strong plastic feet, keeping this bag raised from the ground, even when lying flat, keeping your gear safe and dry, even in harsh conditions.
The only con is I wish the side panels were a bit larger to accommodate larger light stands, but it's not really be a con because that would increase the weight and hurt the portability factor. If I'm going to bring more extensive gear I'd need an assistant and ground transportation anyhow.
Speaking of ground transportation, when lying flat the low profile makes it a breeze to throw this in the back trunk -- even in small cars.
Bottom line, this bag has been a lifesaver and immediately became a permanent part of my kit. I value it so much I bought a second one.
If you are invested in Bowens Gemini Monolights and looking for a better way to transport your kit, this bag is essential.
Definitely check it out.
