Fast action on an LCD TV doesn't get better than this. Thanks to the Motionflow 240Hz refresh rate, the 46" Bravia KDL-46XBR9 delivers an incredibly smooth, sharp, and fluid picture. And colors seem to leap off the screen due to Sony's Live Color Creation technology. Reds are deeper and greens more lush, resulting in overall color reproduction that's more natural and vibrant.

Comments about Sony KDL-46XBR9 1080p Bravia LCD TV:
So far--only a week--the Bravia has been excellent. It is in a room with bright light and many windows, so during the day I don't get the clarity I do at night. I have found it simple to use--though all I have hooked up is a DVD player and my cable. The set up was simple. Right now I'm pleased.

Comments about Sony KDL-46XBR9 1080p Bravia LCD TV:
This review is based on owning the TV for 3 weeks.
Before I purchased this TV, I compared it to whole list of competitors. The usual suspects were on the list: Samsung; LG; Sharp; etc., I am very happy that I chose the XBR. The picture is lifelike without being too bright (Samsung), the onboard speakers are pretty good, and the matte screen is great in my family room which has monster size windows. Watching Planet Earth in 1080p is incredible. If the stand swiveled, it would have been better. I just wished they had a 50" set which would have filled my space better. The 52" was too big for the space. By the way, buying from B&H is also great.

After reading all available reviews, Pros and Cons in my quest to find "the best" TV ... I was finally decided for the XBR9.
Well, now that I'm using it for about 2 weeks, I can only comment on how satisfy I'm with it. Picture quality is unbelievable just like the sound perfromance. All you can expect "widgets"/adds on as cherry on the top.
It's really an all-in ...

Comments about Sony KDL-46XBR9 1080p Bravia LCD TV:
Awesome picture, hooked up to LAN and can access YouTube, many other built-in websites, as well as software updates. I have noticed menu access does slow down once in a while, but hey, at least it's not run by Vista. We use an antenna only in a metro area, so the built in TV Guide that updates when you turn the TV on is very handy. Sleek profile, HDMI allows use of Sony remote for Samsung DVD/VCR combo. TV is located in a large room with large south-facing windows so there is a ton of sunlight - the matte screen is great for this (no glare). A buddy has a Samsung with a shiny screen and I don't think this would have fared well with all the light we have in the living room.

Comments about Sony KDL-46XBR9 1080p Bravia LCD TV:
Sony has finally stopped experimenting will wild bezel designs and the XBR9 46 inch LCD has a nice unobtrusive and thin black bezel. Speakers are in the rear, so that is perfect if you want to run the sound thru your own Home Theater or stereo system.On-screen setup menus took a little getting used to (not exactly intuitive), but it is OK once you figure it out.Picture is best I have seen so far, with possible exception of an LED back-lit sets costing much more.[...]I was impressed.
