For the money, these speakers are really good. I use them in my office and listen to pandora all day. Compared to the old Harmon Kardon's they replaced, these are 10x better. They are light on bass, but I am not a huge bass guy. And they are AC powered, not USB. I personally think that is better but you may think otherwise. The LED light is orange which is an odd color if you are trying to match lights (my monitor is green, my computer is blue). [...]

These speakers are used with laptops to provide audio for DVD and Internet videostreaming for group presentations. We have purchased other speakes and were disappointed in the audio/volume quality. This speaker set answered our prayers. With volume controls the user can adjust the audio for group size. The sound reproduction is excellent.

I have two sets of these speakers. I use one with my office desktop computer where I get great quality sound. I use the second with a small LCD TV in a bedroom where they replace the tiny sound from the TV with nice, rich, clear audio. A great value for the money.

I use these to extend the sound for a 23in TV in the bedroom. Hooked to the audio output on the TV, and placed in the bookcase headboard. I have watched a few movies,and they sound great. They have a tone adjustment,which really helps. These speakers are prefect for my use.

I got these speakers for my children away at college. We went to the local electronics store to 'test drive' 2.0 speaker systems - these were the best by far.
Pros: Best sound for small 2.0 speakers, you can actualy hear the base improvement when A/B comparing to other speakers in this category, all thanks to larger drivers. They also look real cool. They have an input jack so you can connect your iPod/Zune from the front. Big benefit of 2.0 speakers is that there is much less wiring and connectors to break comparing to 2.1 speakers - I am speaking from experience.
Cons: They could have included a headphone out jack.

I wanted to replace my 3 piece satellite speaker system with a 2 piece as my new place is tight for space. My problem was would a 2 piece give me substantial bass or would I be dissappointed. I searched the web and found most people thought that the Altec Lansing VS2620 would suffice. I must say it does. Also, the [...] low price from B&H sure helped.

I use these speakers to provide adequate sound for an under-amplified 19-inch Digital TV. They are not high-fidelity speakers but they work just fine for this purpose.
