Comments about ART S8-3WAY 8-Channel 3-Way Microphone Splitter:
I'm using these (I bought 2) to split our live snake out to my older 32 chnl. Soundtracs Solo Logic console. 16 channels now go out to the PA, while 16 channels go out to our ProTools rig. Now I can dedicate 16 mic pres and EQ and levels to "tape" and the same to live sound. As the S8-3 Way still has another iso out I plan on sending this out to another small board for independent monitor mixes. These thing are invaluable! The sounds seems very transparent, I have not notice any difference in running through them as opposed to straight into the board. As the only other devices that do this are in the $1K+ range, these are awesome for the money! Connections are very solid and entire unit is quality.
