Internal cooling structure minimizes fan noise to 22dB in economy mode. To facilitate ease of installation and operation, the PLV-Z60 includes Sanyo's advanced lens shifting function and a 2x optical zoom, which allows projection of a 100" image from only 9.8 to 20 feet away. A motor-operated sliding shutter opens and closes the shutter via remote control to protect the lens. High Quality Projection

Equipped with three 16:9 native, 1280 x 720 pixel (2.76 million effective pixels) HD LCD panels and 1200 lumens, the PLV-Z60 projects the image from component video signals such as DVD players and HDTV devices, producing a phenomenal picture quality and beautifully saturated colors even in well-lit rooms.
12-bit digital processing IC provides video decoding, scaling and gamma curve generation. Combined with the projector's 10000:1 contrast ratio, the PLV-Z60 delivers exceptional picture quality with deep, rich back levels and beautifully saturated colors, even when ambient light is present.
Twin-iris system integrating a lens aperture and lamp aperture delivers true-to-life images with outstanding gradation in a variety of environments. Enhances the contrast and depth of the projected image.

High Performance

To facilitate ease of installation and operation, the PLV-Z60 is equipped with Sanyo's advanced lens shifting function and a 2x optical zoom, which allows projection of a 100" image from only 9.8 to 20 feet away. The side panel adjustments move the lens vertically and horizontally to project a geometrically accurate and undistorted picture.
The Color Management function allows you to adjust the details of picture colors to suit your preference and viewing environments. Fine-tuning of image settings including hue, gamma curve and color levels, enables compensation for specific conditions in any environment.
Advanced Mode provides a range of adjustments to take care of your every video whim. Adjustments include RGB gain, RGB gamma, RGB offset adjustment, lens iris adjustment, outlines compensation, black level expansion, and contrast enhancement.
Mounting function provides a proper image position (up/down and left/right) depending on the setting position of the projector such as ceiling mounting or wall-hanging.
Some input sources employ special signal formats which may not be tuned by the auto-tuning system of this projector. Picture Adjustment enables you to precisely adjust several parameters (overscan, horizontal, vertical, auto adjust, fine sync, total dots) manually to match those signal formats.
Accepts signals from computers, analog TV systems (PAL, SECAM, NTSC, NTSC4.43, PAL-M, and PAL-N), component video, S-Video, RGB scart, and HDMI.

Conveniences

To protect the lens, the PLV-Z60 is equipped with a motor-operated sliding shutter that opens and closes the shutter via the remote control.
A full compliment of input terminals is provided, including two HDMI connections, two sets of component video inputs, along with composite and S-Video connections to ensure maximum flexibility with all types of components. D-Sub 15 input is provided for direct connection of a PC.
Logo function allows you to customize the screen logo. Capture an image for the screen logo and use it for the starting-up display or between presentations.
A 1200 lumen projector can generate a tremendous amount of heat. At this level of brightness, the fan is 'on' most of the time and the noise can be extremely loud and disruptive, especially in smaller home theaters. Redesigned internal cooling structure minimizes fan noise to 22dB in economy mode, offering greater enjoyment during quiet passages of a film or TV show.
Power management function reduces power consumption and maintains the lamp life. The brightness of the projection lamp can also be selected (4 levels).
